25 February 2021

We are delighted to announce that ten presenters – famous names and new faces – will be talking for ten minutes on a cartographic subject they are passionate about.  The contributions are an equal mix – maps, a globe, an atlas and town plans.  The significance of these contributions ranges from the historical and topographical to the cultural and the linguistic.  The items range from the 16th to 20th Centuries.

Each presenter will have a maximum of ten minutes to present. The meeting will be chaired and there will be time for questions during the presentations if the presenter has taken less than his/her 10 minutes.

When you register for this event you will be provided with a short bio of each presenter together with brief details of the cartographic item under discussion.  If you have not already registered and wish to do so then the link is

The meeting will be held in English and will commence at 18.00 hours UK time.
