David Webb

We would like to congratulate David and Joan Webb on their recent Diamond (60th) Wedding Anniversary.

As most IMCoS members know, David has been our untiring photographer since the early beginnings of our society. He has attended all Symposia without fail and was only prevented from attending our International Symposium in London last year due to a spot of poor health. He is well-known for his outlandish, self-made t-shirts depicting the symposium locations.

David and Joan, of Atworth in Wiltshire, celebrated their anniversary on 5th September and had a party for 50 members of their family with rounders (English forerunner of baseball) and tea.

David has now retired from his voluntary role as roving map paparazzi and we would like to thank David for all his hard work in the past. He has recently begun to sort out his vast collection for the IMCoS Committee. If not otherwise mentioned, photos used on this site are very likely to be David´s.

If you would like to take over the services of photographer, or are willing to be responsible for photography at any future event, the committee would love to hear from you.
