Our colleagues in Austria have put together an excellent programme of events to commemorate Mercator´s 500th birthday. Besides a full programme of lectures and talks there are also visits planned to the Historical Museum, the Woldan Collection at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the Globe Museum and the Austrian National Library.
