The IMCoS Annual Dinner was held on Friday 6th June 2008
at the East India Club, 16 James Square, London SW1 Y4LH.

The Dinner was preceded by the Malcolm Young lecture, presented by Nick Millea Map Librarian, Bodleian Library, Oxford, titled
'The Gough Map, Britain's Earliest Road Map or a Statement of Empire?'

Hungary Weekend Tour
Friday 5th September until Sunday 7th September 2008

Special dates for your diary! The IMCoS Hungary weekend will be 'action packed' and include a tour of Budapest, a visit to the Archiepiscopal Library, (a highlight of which is the original Baroque reading room), and the Benedictine Abbey on the Tihany peninsula.

The tour has been organised by Dr. Zsolt Török. IMCoS members are urged to book ahead because of the limited number of places. IMCoS members have priority booking until the
15th of June. We urge you to book quickly!
